Tryouts for the upcoming 2023 - 2024 Club Volleyball Season will be November 5 - 6, 2023. Tryouts will be at Relentless Life Center (635 Haywood Road, Greenville - behind Starbucks).

Players that are registered for tryouts with Excell Sports will receive an email prior to tryouts (usually the week of tryouts) with additional details (i.e.:  times, location, important information, reminders, etc).

Please use the chart below to assist you in determining which division your child will need to register for when registering for club volleyball tryouts for 2023 - 2024 season.   

It is important that all athletes participating in tryouts with Excell Sports (or any club in our Region that abide by USAV Rules/Regulations) have (or complete) the following:

STEP 1:  REGION RULES state that ALL players for this upcoming season will need to initially purchase a $15 TRYOUT membership. Even if you know the club/team you are joining, you will still need to purchase the tryout membership first and later upgrade after a commitment is made to a specific club.  Players MUST bring proof of this registration to show upon check in at tryouts. CLICK HERE FOR REGISTRATION LINK

STEP 2: Register for Tryouts with Excell Sports using the navy blue tryout link below. 

Offer Letters:  After tryouts are completed for your athletes age group, the coaches meet to compare notes and assign players to the different teams.  Your player will receive an email with an offer to join a team or program with Excell Sports.  IMPORTANT:  Not all offers are emailed at the same time so please be patient with the process.  Emailed offers will have a deadline to accept or decline.  Offers must be accepted by deadline included in offer. 

Uniform Sizing:  We allow players the opportunity to be fitted for their individual gear/uniform packages at Team Signing evening.  We do not ask that players be fitted for their uniforms at tryouts, because we feel the focus of tryouts should be to properly evaluate the player's skill level.   Uniform sizing is done after positions have been accepted and the teams come together to have team signing and team pictures.

Team Signing evening will be announced after teams are formed.

Practice times and locations will be announced soon.

Practice Dates:  Teams will practice on Sundays from 3:00 - 5:00 PM, Tuesdays from 6:00 - 8:00 PM and Thursdays from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Relentless Life Center.

Season Tournaments:  The 2023 - 2024 Tournaments are posted below.   

The 2023 - 2024 fee for the boys team is $1775.  The boy's teams will keep 9 -10 players to a roster to ensure everyone making the time and financial commitment receive playing time.   

Additional Fees:  In addition to the season fee above, your player will need an AAU Membership ($14) and they will also need to upgrade their $15 USAV Tryout Membership to the full membership and pay the additional $35 for this upgrade. 

Uniform Fees:  Uniforms are included.

If paying by credit card, you can do this with the Payment Plan Link that is posted below.  Paying by credit card allows for you to make a one-time payment (includes Sport Engine processing fees) or you can set up a Payment Plan.  

If selecting Payment Plan, you will be able to select 4 payments (Payment plan will also includes Sport Engine processing fees).
