A good coach can change a game. A great coach can change a life." - John Wooden

The Excell Storm Club Volleyball Coaches

We understand the difficult choices that both parents and players face when selecting a club volleyball program.  One of the reasons why the Excell Sports Club Volleyball program has become such a force on the club scene is due to the talented and decorated coaching staff that makes up our coaching team.  Each Coach is carefully selected for their exceptional knowledge and understanding of the sport, as well as for their history of successes, and their upstanding character, both on and off the courts. Our Coaching staff is the most decorated and  skilled staff in the Upstate.  We intentionally remain a smaller club to guarantee the quality of coaching your player receives.  We are fortunate to have staff that represent many Greenville County schools and local Universities.  Our staff includes:  Greenville High School Varsity Volleyball Coach, JL Mann Varsity Volleyball Coach, Greer High School Varsity Volleyball Coach, Chapman High School Varsity Volleyball Coach, Erskine College Head Volleyball Coach, and North Greenville University Men's Assistant Volleyball Coach.

We are thankful for our team, and for the impact they are making in not only the sport, but in the lives of our youth.

My goal is to apply this knowledge and experience at Excell in preparing these young ladies for competitive play at both the JV and Varsity levels. Along the way, I know it will be important as an opportunity to me to continue to grow in my own experience and knowledge. It is also my goal that these girls learn life lessons in adversity, overcoming, courage, kindness, support, patience, compassion, listening, hearing, and many other areas which go beyond simply winning and losing on the court. Simply put, I want them to grow as young women as well as volleyball players. I equally desire to help them grow as individuals spiritually, emotionally, and psychologically as we traverse the many ups and downs a season inevitably holds. I want to push them and help them to become all they wish to be during the volleyball season and beyond as they finish their high school years and as they begin looking towards whatever God may have for them in the future."
