The PALMETTO STATE programs are designed to teach new players (ages 12-Under) the fundamentals and skills needed to play volleyball. These programs are great starter programs for young players that are involved in multi-sports and do not want to commit to any one sport. This program was designed to teach the basics of the game (rules, rotations, footwork, etc) as well as to ensure proper skill training for the players. This program also offers 4 local tournaments so the player can refine the skills needed in a game scenario of competition. The Palmetto State teams practices one day a week (including tournament weeks) for two hours.

The Palmetto State Team will practice on Sundays. Times/ Locations TBA

The 2023-  2024 Palmetto State Team Fee is $850 and will have no more than 8 - 10 players per team.  The different payment options will be listed below.  

For those paying in full, you will be able to make your payment of $850 in person (by check) on Team Signing Day (TBD) or online by selecting the "pay-in-full" option. 

If selecting a payment plan option or paying by credit card, you will need to use the payment link to set up your payment plan.  You can select to pay in full or to set up a payment plan.  If setting up a payment plan, the first payment of $425 will be due upon checkout.  The 2nd (and final) payment of $425  will be drafted on December 18th  Payment plan amounts includes Sports Engine processing fee.)  Payment plans need to be in place by Team Signing Night. Team Signing night will be Announced Soon.

If paying by cash or check, families can bring to Team Signing night.  

The payment plan link for the Palmetto State Team is below and is only for athletes that have received an offer from Excell Sports.  

Players will have the opportunity to be fitted for their individual gear/uniform packages at Team Signing evening which is in November (2022).  We do not ask that players be fitted for their uniforms at tryouts, because we feel the focus of tryouts should be to properly evaluate the player's skill level.   Uniform sizing is done after positions have been accepted and the teams come together to have team signing and team pictures.

Teams will come in waves ~ Palmetto State Teams will be emailed their Team Signing time once it is determined.

The 2022 - 2023 Under Armour Gear Package for the Palmetto State Volleyball Teams will be similar to last year's items (pictured below) which consisted of:

• Long Sleeve Locker Tee (gray) with Player Number (not pictured)
• Short Sleeve Locker Tee (yellow) with Player Number
• Fly By Shorts
• On Court Short (spandex)

**All other items on gear sheet can be ordered, but are not included.
